This map shows the proximity of minority populations living within one mile of toxic release sites. Most toxic release sites, as the reader can see, are sited in predominately minority communities.

Just a landcover change map of an area in Michigan from 1985 to 1995.

This map is the basis of my thesis work, researching effects the siting of hog farms (CAFOs) have on minority communities in the eastern floodplains of North Carolina.
